What is a Hydex WT Series Articulated Water Tank Truck?

 

The primary use for a “Hydex” water tanker is for dust suppression on construction, mining and quarry haul roads, helping to improve safety where in hotter countries or in the summer months the dust thrown into the air on haul roads by heavy equipment can contribute to a dangerous working environment including reducing visibility, and increasing the risks of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) amongst other things, this  makes  a water tanker an essential parts of any modern construction, mining or quarrying site.

Also know as a water bowser, or water sprayer. Hydex is able to offer  conversions for used CAT trucks as well as new trucks from all of the Caterpillar range of articulated dump trucks (ADT’s) i.e the 725, 730, 735, and 740, including the new 735B and 740B.
